Beautiful England

G'day! Or should I say, Hi ya! (as the English do)

Hope you are all well and happy.

I feel like it has been forever since I've blogged. The last few weeks have had me busy doing my book tour in Brissy and it's been wonderful meeting all the booksellers and readers. I've had a blast!

The last six weeks have been absolutely mind-blowing with my life taking twists and turns where I least expected it to. Not that it's been a problem as I adore change and welcome it into my life. It makes things fabulously interesting! So, I will start from the beginning and let you all in on what has been happening...

My hubby, Chloe and I have finally decided to pack up our lives in Dimbulah and move to the coastal-but still country-seaside village of Mossman. Here, we get the best of both worlds, a country lifestyle with the ocean only minutes away. Horse-riding on the beach is a definite must-do around these parts and I will be making sure to do plenty of it. I'm looking forward to being able to choose whether I feel like being a beach bum and writing on the beach or a country bumpkin and writing in the back paddock on any given day. It's going to be wonderful! Hence, the inspiration for the novel I am writing now, Driftwood. :)

But, before we permanently move to Mossman we have decided on visiting Drew's family in England, Stratford-Upon-Avon to be exact. It's absolutely divine here with never-ending green fields dotted with cattle and sheep. Glorious! The scenery is a pleasure to wake up to each and every day and I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to have 3 whole months here. I am also doing a bit of research on novel number 4 so there are plenty of visits to castles and the like on my to-do list. I'm thrilled to be venturing out and discovering new places.

I hope you enjoy the photos I have added which are of where I am staying in the UK. My father-in-law breeds Rottweilers and exotic birds, hence the photos of a pair of Macaws and a Rottweiler named Boris. Doesn't he look fierce! :) I just adore the black ducks and wish I could sneak them all home in my suitcase. And isn't the scenery just gorgeous?! The top few photos are of me with my mate, Tia, and also a couple of our trip to Movie World.

             Thought for this week
"If you can't let go of the past and worry too much about the future you will never get to enjoy the gift of today."

Until next time, keep smiling and dreaming.

Country cheers!
