Mandy Magro. Australian outback fiction author. A passionate writer of anything that involves the bush, rodeos and cattle mustering.
“It's my dream that through my writing I'm able to give readers a taste of the beautiful Australian countryside, from the dust on your face, the smell of horses and cattle, unforgettable Aussie characters, and to the country sun on your skin, all the while evoking plenty of emotions."

I live in the picturesque FNQ township of Cairns with beautiful my daughter, Chloe Rose. Being a lover of both the country and the the coastal lifestyle, living here gives me the best of both worlds!
I decided to put pen to paper about 9 years ago, writing about the many memorable adventures I've experienced on the land, from being a station cook, helping behind the chutes at rodeos, to being a fruit farmer. Little did I know this would be the beginning of a very exciting writing career!
Rosalee Station was my first rural romance novel and my second, Jacaranda, hit the shelves in 2012. My third, Flame Tree Hill, followed a year after in May 2013. My fourth novel, Driftwood, hit the shelves on November 1st 2013 - this book has a small appearance by the fantastic Adam Brand! Country at Heart hit the shelves September 2014. The Wildwood Sisters hit the shelves November 2015.  Bluegrass Bend was out May 1st 2016, and Walking The Line was released into the wilds December 2016. My ninth book, Along Country Roads is out now. I'm presently working on book number ten, Moment of Truth, (December 1st 2017)as well as a steamy rural novella ...The Billionaire Cattle Barron - due for ebook release September 2017.

Like the saying goes, I'm as busy as a blue arse fly at a barbeque, but I love it! I'm obsessed and passionate about writing - it's something I hope to do for the rest of my life.

Keep smiling and dreaming, always
Mandy xx :)
